Payment

Do you accept credit card numbers over the phone?
We will happily process credit card orders via the phone. For your security, we do not keep customer credit card information on file.

Can I create an account with Daniels?
Yes. In fact, most of our returning customers prefer working with Daniels on an account basis.

Estimates

Can you quote products other than what is on your website?
Absolutely! Customized orders are our bread-and-butter and one of the elements that sets us apart from our competitors. Our customer service representatives are extremely well acquainted with all our capabilities, and will work with you and our production team to create exactly the product you want at a reasonable cost.

What is the turn around time for an estimate?
Depending on the nature of your job, an estimate can be given within 24 hours, at most. Most estimates can be provided during your initial phone call, or within hours of your request.

What is the expiration on an estimate?
All of our estimates are binding for thirty days. If we don’t receive your order within that time, we may request a review of your project and may provide a slightly different estimate.

Turnaround Times

What is the turnaround time for large formats?

What is the turnaround time for color jobs?

What is the turnaround time for copies?
Most black-and-white copy jobs can be turned around on the same day, depending on the need for finishing (folding, binding, etc).

Can I request for a faster turnaround time?
Yes. We are always willing to work with customers with pressing needs for fast turnaround!

Fonts and File types

Will the fonts I used in my design print correctly?
You can package your fonts and upload (or email) them to us, along with your file(s). Ask a Daniels prepress representative or a CopyCop Store Manager for more information on how to package your fonts.

What file types do you accept?
We are most comfortable working with – Quark, InDesign, PhotoShop, Illustrator, Microsoft, .pdf, .eps, .jpg, .tiff.

Can I FTP my files?
We accept digital files via a variety of sources – email, disks, hard copies, and, of course, our online submission service. Ask your Customer Service Representative or Store Manager for more information.

Proofs

Will I receive a hard or soft proof?
You may request either or both. Soft proofs can be transmitted more quickly, of course, as they eliminate the need to move your job through Boston traffic, but we happily supply hard copy proofs for color matching and stock purposes.

Can I change the file after receiving a proof?
You can make any changes to your original submission if you like, including replacing the file entirely. We will need to show you a proof every time you make a change to your files.

Shipping

Will Daniels provide me with a tracking number with jobs shipped via courier?
When you request a job delivered via an outside courier, Daniels will e-mail you a tracking number.

Do you offer free shipping on products?
Daniels offers quick delivery within a select radius of our sister company, CopyCop retail stores, courtesy of our on-foot delivery staff. Most of these deliveries are free of charge.

Can I pick up my order at a Daniels or a CopyCop store in person?
Not only can you, but we’d love to see you. Many of our customers make a point of stopping by our stores for face-to-face meets with their Customer Service Representative. We like matching faces to names, especially since we have increasingly lengthy relationships with so many of our customers!

Can I use my own shipping number?
Yes.
